Women Business Owners Want Someone Who Can Help Them Look at the Bottom Line

Welcome to my 5 part blog series, "What Women Business Owners Want."  This week's topic is Women Business Owners Want Someone Who Can Help Them Look at the Bottom Line.

Violette Business Services

It’s been my experience that not many women business owners building and growing online businesses understand or even like dealing with the financial aspects of running their businesses.

No judgment!

It’s perfectly understandable!

It’s a reality that there is a learning curve for small business owners to learn the business building skills required for growing successful businesses.

In addition, most are so busy actually running their businesses that it’s absolutely more appealing to just watch the revenue be transferred to their bank accounts.

However, lack of understanding can lead to mistakes in leading business growth.

All business owners need to have a basic understanding of certain financial and accounting principles.

A multitude of classes are available for you to learn and gain a basic understanding of financial principles you can build on with the support of your bookkeeper and accountant.

Actually, the truth is that finance is less complicated that most business owners realize.

This post is not meant to explain financial principles…I’m not that person.

However, I am that person to speak to you about the importance of having a good handle on all the numbers in your business, not just the financial ones.

Many online business owners know they need to be tracking and analyzing the metrics in their businesses, i.e. their numbers, in order to make good business decisions regarding marketing, expanding business, hiring new team members, new business strategies, and more.

Most are very familiar with sales, expense, and promotion numbers, although there are others that are just as important to track and analyze to make effective marketing and business decisions.

It’s my hope and desire to throw you a life preserver in a sea of numbers.

Listen up…here comes the life preserver.

With the support of your Online Business Manager, your bookkeeper, and your accountant, you have the right people in place to ensure that your financial, marketing, and business numbers are being collected, tracked, analyzed, and presented to you in ways that are easy for you to understand. Those numbers are the base for making important business decisions that will propel your business forward.

When you hire an Online Business Manager, she sets up and manages the systems and processes that collect and run your numbers while you do what you do best – lead and strategize. Your business will thrive, and you’ll get your life back!

Does this sound like you?

Do the financial and metrics aspects of your business overwhelm you? Are you ready to start taking a consistent salary (owner’s pay) and have enough cash flow to weather the ebbs and flows of your business bank account? Are you ready to start making the best possible business decisions based on real-time numbers in your business?
