One Reason Why It’s So Hard to Let Go

For many women business owners, it’s hard to let go and fully open their business to someone else to lead and manage. In other words, they’re reluctant to step back and let an Integrator fully see their businesses in their entirety.

For each Visionary, the specific reason may be personal and different, but many times it boils down to not wanting someone else to see their business “mess”. They may feel shame about it and don’t want to feel judged by the Integrator. Also, they may be afraid to admit the messiness to themselves.

Boy, Is It Hard to Let Go and Let Someone In!

Basically, women business owners want to clean the business house before they invite an Integrator to see behind the curtain of their organization. For many, there is embarrassment around the fact the business is in chaos by the time they invite an Integrator in. Plus, they feel vulnerable about someone seeing the backside of the business, which usually looks nothing like the front.

Violette Business Service - women business owners typically want to clean house (business) before letting one see behind the curtain of the business.

It's different when you hire someone to do one-off work or execution work. In that case, they don't see the whole backhand, so they’re probably not going to judge you for your lack of skills and organization.

When a Visionary CEO comes to me, I expect chaos and messes – several messes in different areas, in fact. Yes, it’s hard to let go and let me into the real world of your business. It may mean you have to admit the chaos to yourself, and that’s tough, I know. However, I want and need to see all of it because that’s the only way I can truly help.

That chaos resulted from your success!

I’d say that’s to be celebrated, not shamed.

There’s no judgment. If you didn’t have chaos and mess, you wouldn’t need me in the first place. Mess and chaos are my favorite things to fix, and I love sorting them out and solving them.

I Can’t Fully Help if I Can’t Fully See.

I can’t help your business grow to the next level unless I know and see the chaos firsthand. All of it. In fact, the worse the mess, the quicker I can help and move your business forward. It’s hard to let go, but when you let down your guard, I can see where we are now.

I want to see the confusion. I want to see the clutter, so I know exactly how to help you move forward.

Likewise, your clients have messes, or you wouldn’t have a business to help them solve their problems and calm their chaos. When you begin, you want to see where they are – where they truly are – so you know where to help them. This is no different.

I know you don’t judge them or shame them, no matter how big their mess(es) might be. You know the bigger the mess, the faster and better the results.

It’s the same for your relationship with your Integrator. We get big results, quickly, when we can see what’s truly going on.

In conclusion, I know it’s hard to let go of the vine, so to speak, and grab my hand, but there will be no judgment or shame here. Your mess is also my mess, and we can create magic from it.
