For many women business owners, it’s hard to let go and fully open their business to someone else to lead and manage. In other words, they’re reluctant to step back and let an Integrator fully see their businesses in their entirety.

For each Visionary, the specific reason may be personal and different, but many times it boils down to not wanting someone else to see their business “mess”. They may feel shame about it and don’t want to feel judged by the Integrator. Also, they may be afraid to admit the messiness to themselves.

It's different when you hire someone to do one-off work or execution work. In that case, they don't see the whole backhand, so they’re probably not going to judge you for your lack of skills and organization.

When a Visionary CEO comes to me, I expect chaos and messes – several messes in different areas, in fact. Yes, it’s hard to let go and let me into the real world of your business. It may mean you have to admit the chaos to yourself, and that’s tough, I know. However, I want and need to see all of it because that’s the only way I can truly help.
